Unusual pine and beech primitive chair, Swiss. early 19th century

Wonderful primitive chair, the half circle seat with canted corners made of a single piece of thick pine, the ox bow curved back rail which is also the arm support echos and follows the shape of the seat and is supported on three simple shaped beech supports. The four chamfered beech stick legs secured through the seat with split wedges. Swiss, early 19th century.
Condition: Wonderful buttery colour, good patina, excellent condition.
