Finely potted stoneware bottle vase glazed inside and out with bands of graduated blue with two bands of yellow.  Footrim unglazed and with the impressed potter's mark.  Andrew Davidson, late 20th century. Influenced by the work of Lucie Rie, pots by Davidson are comparatively rare. He worked alone never making more than a few hundred pots a year. Standards were high and seconds were generally smashed. He is no longer potting following a car accident in 2008.
