Impressive table with unusually thick beech cleated top comprising three planks, raised on four square section oak legs united by end stretchers, the legs morticed through the top as is typical of the region.  France, Normandy, late 18th century.

Condition:  Wonderful, honey colour and patina, some historic wood beetle (treated and now inactive), the narrow middle plank of the table top is original but made of two pieces joined in the middle.
