Small giltwood mirror with elaborate pierced crest, French circa 1850

An attractive small mirror, the frame gilded and carved with classic motifs and spandrels on a green painted ground, the top rail with an integral carved and pierced crest incorporating a flaming torch and a quiver with arrows within a swagged bow.

Condition: Original oil gilt and green paint.  Original mirror plate with some blemishes.
