A pair of wooden frames with cut gesso decoration and painted with a red ground and grey bole which originally would have been silver gilt, now worn away.  Each with relief carved anthemia and foliate motifs encircling angels, the outer edges with stylised gadrooning.  Spain, late 17th century.

Condition: Originally the relief carving would have been gilded silver but now this has worn away exposing the grey bole.
