An important and imposing large wood sculpture of a Bishop Saint, seated, his robes falling in soft drapes around him and retaining traces of the original polychrome decoration, his cloak fastened by a carved magnificent jewelled clasp, his beatic expression soft and serious. Swabian, 14th century circa 1350.
