A pair of limewood figural candlesticks in the form of angels in renaissance costume, each holding a torch which forms the candle sconce retaining the original crimped tin drip pans.  North Italy, 16th century style.

Condition:  Originally probably polychromed over gesso.  Originally with wings, now missing.  Some scuffs and losses.
