An oak folding table, sometimes called a coaching table, the circular three plank top nailed with hand riven iron nails, now oxidised, to three oak rails on the underside, supported on a trestle base with sledge feet and with a revolving gate which supports the top when the table is open. Northern French, Louis XVI, circa 1780
Condition: Shrinkage between the planks, cracks and losses to the top commensurate to the rustic nature and the age of the table
